Entry Fee:

Entry is for a team of two.

Early Bird Entry - $180 (Before 13th August 2012)

Standard Entry - $190 (Before 20th October 2012)

Late Entry - $200 (Before 14th November 2012)

You will receive entry confirmation via email when you enter the event online.

Final event information will be available for download from the website approximately one week before the event.

Entry is limited to 500 teams of two (male, female or mixed). Entries will close once this limit is reached. Get in early to avoid disappointment.

Minimum age is 16 years if two teenagers are racing together, otherwise 10yrs and older if racing with an adult.

Bring the Kids:

We would like to encourage teams and parents to bring their kids along to enjoy the Urban Max experience. Limited to kids under 13 years, we offer a $40 option that includes:

Their very own Urban Max t-shirt
Race number to make them feel part of the team
End of race meal

As part of the option, they are allowed to assist you in solving clues and locating checkpoints. They can also help your team in completing activities at the various activity checkpoints. To book in your kids, just select the "Optional Item" in our online registration system.

If you have a toddler or younger child you would like to bring along in a stroller, you are welcome to do so. There is no additional charge for kids that are not actively involved in the event.

Maximum Adventure Shirts & Caps:

The shirts are a 100% polyester Raglan Cool Dry Tech t-shirt. The material is quick drying, breathable and moisture wicking and provides UV protection making it perfect for training or racing. They are available in men's sizes S-XL and women's sizes 8-14 and are only $40 each

The caps are white and are made from a sports specific polymesh fabric. These lightweight caps are great for running and paddling. Machine washable they protect you from the sun while keeping you cool. Only $15 each with an adjustable strap one size fits all. Pre-order both of these items when entering online.

Insurance:

Maximum Adventure is covered by its own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident insurance. It is strongly recommended to take out your own personal accident and ambulance cover for the event as offered by Cyclecover.

Cyclecover Personal Event Insurance:

Participants in the Urban Max can purchase Personal Accident Insurance by adding this as an option when registering for the event. Before choosing to purchase the personal insurance, you should read the Product Disclosure Statement and Cyclecover's Financial Services Guide to decide if this product is right for you.

All competitors will be required to sign a release and indemnity at race registration.

Refunds:

Entry cancellations can be made up to two weeks before the event date when a refund (less $30 administration fee) will be made. Please send requests for refund in writing to info@maxadventure.com.au. Refunds will not be given after this date.

If the event has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of god, terrorism, war or any other reason so deemed by the organisers, the event will be rescheduled where possible and no refunds will be issued.
