If you're keen to get involved in adventure racing, become more proficient within the sport or want the opportunity to train with like-minded people, then the Maximum Adventure training weekend is the ideal opportunity to do just that!
These courses enable you to enhance your skills for adventure racing, including practical advice on individual preparation, gear requirements and nutrition.
The key emphasis will be on enhancing navigational skills with respect to mountain biking, trail running, kayaking during the day and the night.

A typical course:
SATURDAY
Theory sessions include navigation (basic/intermediate), fitness
training, nutrition, gear and strategy. Practical sessions include
trail running, mountain biking, night navigation, kayaking with
a continued focus on navigation.
SUNDAY
Team Adventure Challenge. The route will include mountain biking, trail running and kayaking, taking up to 4 hours to complete.
Cost:
$250 inc. GST. This includes Saturday lunch
and dinner and Sunday lunch, kayak hire, instruction and maps.

12-13th April 2008, Narrabeen, NSW
27-28th Sept 2008, Narrabeen, NSW
Group size is kept small to give participants individual tuition. Typical course size is between 6-8 students.
Requirements:
• A basic level of fitness will be necessary.
• You should be able to swim at least 100m (for safety).
• The course is designed for adventure racers or those keen to get involved in adventure racing.
