Entry Deadline
Entries are due two weeks before the event date or until entries are sold out. After this date a late fee of $10 per person will apply. You may submit a late entry up until two days prior to the race.
Maximum Adventure shirts and caps
The Maximum Adventure shirts are made from Cool Dry fabric and are light blue with dark blue side panels. The material is quick drying, breathable, moisture wicking and provides UV protection making it perfect for training or racing. They are available in men's sizes S-XL and women's sizes 8-14 and are only $40 each.
The caps are white and are made from a sports specific polymesh fabric. These lightweight caps are great for running and paddling. Machine washable, they protect you from the sun while keeping you cool. Only $15 each with an adjustable strap one size fits all. Pre-order both of these items when entering online.
Insurance
Maximum Adventure is covered by its own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident insurance. It is strongly recommended to take out your own personal accident and ambulance cover for the event. Your private health insurance policy may include this, but you will need to check with them.
Refunds & Cancellations
Entry cancellations can be made up to two weeks before the event date when a refund (less 20% administration fee) will be made. Refunds will not be given after this date. Please send requests for refund in writing to todd@maxadventure.com.au. If the event has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of god, terrorism, war or any other reason so deemed by the organisers, the event will be rescheduled where possible and no refunds will be issued. All withdrawals must be confirmed in writing before a refund will be issued.
Transfers & Category Changes
Competitors can transfer their entry to another person up until two weeks before the event. Transfer requests must be done in writing to the above email address. Please state your request to transfer the entry and include all personal details (as per the entry form) of the new entrant. Transfer requests will only be accepted from the current incumbent.
