Entries close 3 days prior to each race. Please contact us if you wish to enter after this date.

Entry requirements:

All participants must:

Be able to swim 100m
Be compentent navigators
Be fit and able to cope with the demands of the event
Minimise their impact on the environment during the event and
respect other users of the land
Accept responsibility for themselves and their belongings
Be prepared to follow the rules and conditions sent out with final details

Accomodation:

Individuals will need to make their own arrangements at the suggested venue.
A special rate will be negotiated for camping.

Maximum Adventure Shirts & Caps:

The shirts are a 100% polyester Raglan Cool Dry Tech t-shirt. The material is quick drying, breathable and moisture wicking and provides UV protection making it perfect for training or racing. They are available in men's sizes S-XL and women's sizes 8-14 and are only $40 each

The caps are white and are made from a sports specific polymesh fabric. These lightweight caps are great for running and paddling. Machine washable they protect you from the sun while keeping you cool. Only $15 each with an adjustable strap one size fits all. Pre-order both of these items when entering online.

Insurance:

Maximum Adventure is covered by its own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident insurance. It is strongly recommended to take out your own personal accident and ambulance cover for the event as offered by Cyclecover.

Cyclecover Personal Event Insurance:

Participants in the Kathmandu Adventure Series, 12 and 24 hour events can purchase Personal Accident Insurance by adding this as an option when registering for the event. Before choosing to purchase the personal insurance, you should read the Product Disclosure Statement and Cyclecover's Financial Services Guide to decide if this product is right for you.

All competitors are required to agree to the waiver when entering online.

Refunds & Cancellations:

Entry cancellations can be made up to two weeks before the event date, by writing to info@maxadventure.com.au, when a refund (less 20% administration fee) will be made. Refunds will not be given after this date.

If the event has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of god, terrorism, war or any other reason so deemed by the organisers, the event will be rescheduled where possible and no refunds will be issued. All withdrawals must be confirmed in writing before a refund will be issued.
