The
2008 Kathmandu Adventure Series comprises of
six events as shown below. You may enter just one event,
or all of them.

Where:
The exact location of the of the event is kept secret until two weeks before the event. However all of the events are located within one hour of the the CBD.

Teams of two. Teams must stay together (no relays).
Gear:
The following items are to be worn or carried during the event as a minimum:
• Map (bring some contact paper to waterproof it with)
• Compass
• Mobile phone, in a waterproof bag
• Whistle per team member
• Drink, at least two litres per team is recommended
• Basic first aid kit (one crepe bandage, adhesive tape,
wound dressing and six adhesive dressings
• Emergency blanket (space blanket)
• Pen (for marking map)
• Mountain bike
• Cycle helmet
A full gear list, rules and directions will
be available for download from the website approximately two
weeks before the event.
Entry requirements:
All participants must:
• Be able to swim 100m
• Be able to read a street directory
• Be moderately fit and able to cope with the demands of the event
• Minimise their impact on the environment during the event
and respect other users of the land
• Accept responsibility for themselves and their belongings
• Be prepared to follow the rules and conditions included
in the final instructions
