Entry Cost

 

Entry is for a team of two.

 

Early Bird Entry - $95 per person (first month after entries open)

Standard Entry - $100 per person (second month after entries open)

Final Entry - $105 per person (one month prior to event date)

You will receive entry confirmation via email when you enter the event online.

 

Final event information will be available for download from the website approximately one week before the event.

Note: You will need to supply your own Mountain Bikes (one per person) for each event.

 

Entry requirements:

 

To participate in the Kathmandu Adventure Series, all participants must:

• Be able to swim 100m
• Be able to read a street directory
• Have a basic level of fitness and able to cope with the demands of the event
• Minimise their impact on the environment during the event and respect other users of the land
• Accept responsibility for themselves and their belongings
• Be prepared to follow the rules and conditions included in the final instructions

 

Entry Deadline:

 

Early bird entries close two weeks before the event. After this date a late fee of $10 per person applies.
Entries close 3 days prior to each race. Please contact us if you wish to enter after this date.

• A professionally organised, safe and enjoyable adventure race
• Kayaks, paddles and personal flotation devices (PFDs)

Refunds & Cancellations:

 

Entry cancellations can be made up to two weeks before the event date, by writing to info@maxadventure.com.au, when a refund (less $30 administration fee) will be made. Refunds will not be given after this date.

 

If the event has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of god, terrorism, war or any other reason so deemed by the organisers, the event will be rescheduled where possible and no refunds will be issued. All withdrawals must be confirmed in writing before a refund will be issued.

 

Insurance:

 

Maximum Adventure is covered by its own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident insurance. It is strongly recommended to take out your own personal accident and ambulance cover for the event as offered by Cyclecover.

 

Cyclecover Personal Event Insurance:

 

Participants in the Kathmandu Adventure Series can purchase Personal Accident Insurance by adding this as an option when registering for the event. Before choosing to purchase the personal insurance, you should read the Product Disclosure Statement and Cyclecover's Financial Services Guide to decide if this product is right for you.
