Entry Cost:

 

$150 per person, including GST.

 

You will receive entry confirmation via email when you enter the event online.

 

Final event information will be emailed to you approximately one and half weeks before the event.

Entry Deadline:

 

Applications close one week prior to the Adventure Racing Clinic or when sold out. Please contact us if you would like to enter after this time.

 

What's included:

 

  • Lunch
  • Kayaks, paddles and personal flotation devices
  • Maps
  • Personal instruction from specialists in their field

 

What you need to bring:

 

  • A mountain bike, helmet and repair kit
    (if you don't have one we can hire one for you for $50 for the day)
  • A comfortable pair of shoes and a change of clothing
  • Water bottle or hydration pack
  • Pen and paper

 

A full gear list will be sent to you about 1 week out from the event date.

 

What are the timings for the day:

 

The day starts around 8:45am with theory sessions in the morning and then group practical sessions (kayaking, mountain biking and trekking) in the afternoon, finishing up around 5pm.

 

Insurance:

 

Maximum Adventure has $10 million public liability insurance. This is compulsory in order to operate on NPWS land.

 

This does not include personal accident insurance. It is strongly recommended to take out your own personal accident and ambulance cover for the event. Your private health insurance policy may include this, but you will need to check with them.

 

Terms and Conditions:

 

Entry cancellations can be made up to two weeks before the event date when a refund (less 20% administration fee) will be made. Refunds will not be given after this date. Please send requests for refund in writing to info@maxadventure.com.au.

 

If the event has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disaster, acts of god, terrorism, war or any other reason so deemed by the organisers, the event will be rescheduled where possible and no refunds will be issued.

 

If the training weekend is cancelled due to lack of numbers. The student is entitled to a full refund.

 

All withdrawals must be confirmed in writing before a refund will be issued.
