2009 Adventure Series Events Now Open!!
Online entries for the first three events in the 2009 Kathmandu Adventure Series are now open. The first event for 2009 is in the Blue
Mountains, with an option of racing on the Saturday or Sunday. Yarra Bend in Melbourne will be hosting the second event, followed
by the Sunshine Coast, QLD at the end of March.

Melbourne produced perfect weather for the sixth event in the 2008 Kathmandu Adventure Series.
The day kicked off with a kayak and a run, followed by a mountain bike leg, with some runs thrown in, another
mountain bike on some great single track and finally one last kayak.
Taking out first place overall and first in the mens category was the "Keen torq'ers" in a blistering time of 2hrs 42mins. First in the
mixed and second overall was the team of "D and Nath" in a time of 2hrs 52mins. "Jo & Tors" took out the female category and placed eleventh
overall in a time of 3hrs 28mins.
