18th March 2008

New event date and venue
Maximum Adventure and Prokayaks are pleased to announce a new event at Narrabeen Lakes on Saturday 6th December '08. It will follow the same format as previous events, however it will be run over 3 hours instead of the usual 5 hours. Local Matt Blundell will be setting the course and promised a few surprises to keep you on your toes. Entries open on 1st August '08.

3rd February 2008

Ideal paddling conditions greeted paddlers on Saturday. A overcast day with an occasional shower. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the conditions past Grotto point. 2-3 meters swells were being reported causing the organisers to shorten the course and the time limit to 4.5 hours.

Prokayaks (Matt Blundell and Mike Snell) once again took out first place in the male doubles (owncraft) Clearing the course in just over four hours. The only other to team to clear the course in the time limit was BLASTERS.com (Male Andrew and Love Simon Manson).
