• Waterproofed first aid kit (minimum: sunscreen, crepe
bandage, sterile dressing, strapping tape and space blanket)

• Hand bailing device attached to boat, either bailing bucket
or hand pump. This is in addition to any foot pump or electric
pumps that may be fitted (for enclosed boats only, surf ski's
& sit-on-tops exempt) - PB

Safety::
Participants must be able to look after
themselves on the water. This should include:
• Being able to swim 100m
• Being able to self rescue
• Being able to navigate on water
As the river is not closed to general traffic
you will need to be aware of other boats on the river. You should
also be comfortable in your craft of choice in varying conditions.
